Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

This is a little somethin' i cooked up for my creative track application. At EFY, I was always knows for having a flower in my hair. It's since become a bit of a trademark. NYC is one of my favorite places in the world because of the pulse and the beat of the city, and because it's the #1 hotspot for quality, CLASSY, creative advertising. I love the glamour of it all. I can't wait to get to do this for real. and get paid for it! :)

(any criticism is welcome. I really want my portfolio to be an accurate portrayal of what I can do. Plus if you have a cool picture I can play with, that would be awesome. Let me know!)

  1. i Do love it but i enjoy critiquing so.... :)
I'd say that i'd like to be able to see Both your hands. If you could make it (i don't know if you can or not ) so you could see your hand on the far left. Like if your fingers were curled over the edge.
Also, the border you put around the pic of NYC, did you do the lines crooked for a reason? I almost wish they were straighter.....i don't know. just more concise. Does that make sense?

  2. k i looked at it again and the other thing i was thinking is that since your head is facing the right, could you either move the spotlight over or change it into more of an oval so there is more space emphasized to your right where you're looking? It might help to make it look less like your staring at the edge of the pic/border...
But really i'm super impressed! That's so cool that you're learning and doing things like that! i WISH i could do that! i'm sure i wouldn't have the patience for it though! :)
